What is Trump doing about the avian flu?

There are no eggs in the grocery store. There are signs about the avian flu.

What is Trump doing about this?

When he said that he was going to bring down the cost of eggs did he mean that they would no longer be available?

LOLOLOLOL

I'm sure he'll release a statement about how it leaked on purpose just as soon as he deports 10 millions criminals *checks notes from DCUM @sskissers* raping children every day.

He solved the problem by prohibiting the CDC and other govt health agencies from releasing any information about it to the public. See? No more avian flu!

Already solved. My Safeway finally has eggs back in stock.

THANK YOU PRESIDENT TRUMP!!!

Eggs cost nothing because you can't get them! See - what a good job he did.

He's not doing anything and this posts a major risk not just to our food supply but also to our health. But luckily Ol Brain Worm Jr is going to be in charge soon.

Influenza A(H5N1) has been spreading in wild birds globally since the mid-1990s and in the United States since 2014.

Six days after Trump is inaugurated, democrats want to know how he’s going to do about it.

What did Biden do about it? Can’t Trump just continue Biden’s successful Bird Flu Eradication campaign?

And eggs locally are about 1/3 higher in price now than in early January.

December 26, 2024 – CDC has sequenced the HPAI A(H5N1) avian influenza viruses in two respiratory specimens collected from the patient in Louisiana who was severely ill from an A(H5N1) virus infection. CDC received two specimens collected at the same time from the patient while they were hospitalized for severe respiratory illness: a nasopharyngeal (NP) and combined NP/oropharyngeal (OP) swab specimens. Initial attempts to sequence the virus from the patient's clinical respiratory specimens using standard RNA extraction and multisegment-RTPCR (M-RTPCR)1 techniques yielded only partial genomic data and virus isolation was not successful.

what did Biden do as the bird flu jumped to humans in the US?

Who cares about Biden? Biden is not president. Trump is president.

Trump campaigned on the high price of eggs. Trump promised to bring down grocery prices. It’s not happening and now there are no eggs at all. Trump wasn’t elected to threaten to invade Greenland. He needs to focus on bread and butter problems.

Pretty much these, no weekly CDC flu report with flu type breakdown released Friday nor the scheduled CDC MMWR that was supposed to cover an avian flu update on Friday. First time MMWR report not released in 60 years.

There was a kid in CA who tested positive for avian influenza a couple weeks ago and did not have known animal contact.

But if you stop reporting it, it does not exist!!

The bird flu has been in humans sweetie. Public health depts are actively testing random swabs for H5 and meanwhile the last CDC HAN alert a week or two ago instructed hospitals to ramp up ability to specifically test for it. But that was before CDC went dark, released only general resp viral trends and no indepth weekly CDC flu report during a sudden new spike of cases last week, and no MMWR avian flu update Friday.

Have the CDC and NIH scientists work on it?
Not happening now because infectious diseases aren’t researched anymore, scientists can’t order lab supplies, attend meetings and disseminate information

Safeway has always had eggs. They sell 30 for 5.99. Nothing to do with Trump.
