My father was a republican up until Clinton. He was disappointed in Bush I and started voting democrat. My mother is an independent but very liberal. They were fine. My mother even went to Reagan’s and Bush I’s inaugurations. Trump is a different story. I would not date or marry a Trump supporter. That’s a whole different kind of crazy.
