What industry where there are lots of high paying jobs are straight white dudes marginalized? |
+1 they sure don't have the "pull yourself up by your bootstraps" attitude. #fragility |
Logically fallacious. The woman you ended up hiring was probably more qualified than the man because she ended up at the same place without the advantage of being a straight man. |
What other thread? |
+1 |
Only crazy progressive women get upset about men holding the doors for them. |
DP but i'm guessing the gay thread |
Wrong. I'm not a crazy progressive and don't like it. |
"Fake" manners are used as justification that respect is present, but respect is standing up for women in the workplace, believing women, allowing women to speak as long as men do, etc. |
Also Latino/a/x is now majority for people under 22… they may not be fan of Trump but don’t expect them to buy into the DEI practice. |
Have you ever thought of it this way? We know that diversity increases profits. We know that there are qualified women in the workforce. This is not a crapshoot. We are not throwing dice when we hire people. Wouldn’t it make sense that recruiters would go out and find the most qualified woman, because we know if the environment becomes lopsided, we will lose profits. |
+100000000000 Holding a door open is such a stupid and meaningless way to try and convey respect. Like, you're holding the door open so that I can walk into a meeting where you talk over me, steal my ideas, ignore me? Really respectful. So grateful that you held open the door for me. |
It was quite literally her job to hold the door, close it, and lock it after everybody. Are you insane? |
Joe Rogan, basically |
+1 lol was she supposed to break protocol to soothe male egos? |
