| And it’s arsekissers |
Nonsense?: https://www.nbcwashington.com/news/local/family-of-man-killed-in-police-chase-turned-hit-and-run-speaks-out/3737568/ Take your snark and shove it up your a$$, ignorant buffoon. |
| Next time, please take a couple of seconds to run a Google search to validate your wild assumptions before shooting your mouth off. You’ll come as slightly less of a cretin. |
Good point. He end run the city entirely and just increase the budget for USPP and USSS. |
| Why are you calling people cretin etc. for telling the truth, like a cornered animal? Is it because you’ll have to get a job that isn’t a DC council handout? |
| It is NOT true that the tragic death of a man from Guinea was caused by a police chase. It occurred at the time of (frankly regrettable) no chase policy (yet another pro-criminal DC Council measure). It was caused by a hit and run by a criminal who drove off from an attempted stop by a stationary police. You liar. |
|
Meanwhile, the death of a violent gang member and drug dealer who crashed himself on a scooter has not only caused the pro-criminal DC Council to institute unconscionable limitations on MPD’s ability to do their jobs - such as no chase policy.
It has also landed two veteran police officers with families in prison for 5.5 and 4 years respectively. They had commendations and a great track record. They made a split decision that a cowardly DC Council seized upon to ride a political moment in 2020. DC Council has been further eroding the citizen rights and enjoyment of like in the city ever since. Given quite how many on DC Council now and before engaged in criminal activity, it’s no wonder they don’t like police doing their jobs. Well, it’s over. Look at prop 83, a massive FU to the Council and this type of crooked behavior. |
| What did he do the last time? Are we better yet? |
|
Cretin here. I run a Google search. As per usual you lied for a political gain. There was no chase. It was a hit and run by a criminal fleeing a stop. They are running amok because they no longer get put in prison and the police had no right to stop them and put them there.
Law abiding Dems are sick of this type of political demagogy. Look at the Prop 83. Shane on you for lying. |
| 73% is a pretty strong repudiation of the DC Council. |
|
I give up. I’m terribly disappointed by the election results. Trump won popular vote and so did Trayon White. Shocking.
Let’s hope the first abolishes the Home Rule. And that the second never sits on any government committee ever again. |
|
This is a shocking outcome
https://wtop.com/dc/2024/09/5-and-1-2-years-in-prison-for-dc-officer-convicted-in-fatal-chase-of-scooter-driver/ Who will willingly join MPD? |
Exactly. Demonize, hobble, second guess and prosecute law enforcement with abandon, lift up the criminal element at every opportunity (cue the tearful families demanding "justice" for armed criminals shot dead by police; paint BLM on public spaces, etc), and reap the predictable consequences. |
Of course you can't, you boomer moron. |
The issue is that people thought they wanted criminal justice reform since George Floyd, but when they got it it made them less safe. Violence interruptors? Unlimited speeding tickets and no loss of license? Shield criminal records up to age 26? Youth rehab act and second chance allowing early release for violent criminals? No ATV enforcement? Failure to prosecute 62% of cases? Like what did Charles Allen and the woke bunch think would happen? People will get away with what they can? Occam’s razor. |
