Political Discussion
| The same thing that I’m telling my teen daughters. The country has a lot of not smart people and they get to vote too. Do well in school, get a good job, marry well and stay above it all. |
|
You tell your sons that every day in the United States three women are killed by an intimate partner.
That maternal mortality rates are among the highest in the world. That in two thirds of U.S. states women and girls have little to no access to reproductive health care. That if they are real alpha males, they should be protective of the troupe. |
Fed up to me means they want more power. This is where Trump comes in to save them like an evangelical paster who tells people they are now saved for doing nothing. Many people like Trump just fine and just make up reasons why to like him and disregard the bad. What you are missing is that he is telling them they are winners just for having labels that you don't even have to live by. They like that they are part of a winning group according to Trump. They like that they feel they have power. This is all about wanting power. Not morality and not policy, but power. They like that there is someone else to blame for America's failing. I mean think about it. Even the slogan Make America Great Again kind of implies that Americans aren't doing as great a job as they could in America and abroad and that as citizens your first thought should be well what is my role in this? Share this blame. And then along comes Trump and he says you are doing great. There are these other people to blame for America's failings. You don't have to look inward at all. Romney was from a fringe religion and Obama was a charismatic speaker and an incumbent and we were still in wars that people hoped we would get out of. People were still mad at Bush for getting us into them. If Romney had run against Joe Biden he might have won but he chose not to. |

Tell him he won’t die from fighting pointless wars, he will have better opportunities with deregulation to create his own business, tell him to revel in the silly hysterias from the wokesters |
So you’re telling your kids that your view is the only smart one? Anyone that disagrees with you, it’s because they are just too stupid? I bet your kids see through that. |
So you still don’t get it. |
The republican party was the one who started all these mideast wars. |
| You tell your sons that these men in power say education isn't that important but they both went to ivy league schools so they are simply lying. |
| You tell your sons that these men say they are afraid of immigrants ruining the country but both married immigrants and that their families were immigrants at one time as well so again they are just lying for political gain. You tell them to respect all people and live a life of respect. |
OP, what we need to tell our sons is to be more sensitive. Sensitive and caring, like Tim Walz. |
Why do you conflate legal with illegal immigration |
| Maybe stop saying that there are 72 million stupid people in the US. I was on some woman's lifestyle blog and she was going to fire her "housekeeper" for daring to vote for Trump. Who the heck has a housekeeper never mind telling them who to vote for or else. |
Okay there's 82 million stupid people in the US. |
The people in Springfield Ohio are there legally. |
It is you who is lying, PP. Tell the truth. They did not say education isn’t important. President Trump and VPOTUS Vance have rightly criticized the CURRENT state of the Ivy League institutions they attended. For example: the arguably number one university in the U.S.A., Harvard, was led by President Gay, who: - accumulated a pathetically scant eight published, peer-reviewed papers, - her eight papers were on the dividing topic of “DIE” - diversity - most of them were plagiarized |
