Unfortunately, FCPS is unlikely to hire someone who will nurture the kids and their interest in the challenging education the school provides. I am sure Reid will find another in the mold of Bonitatibus.

Dr. Bonitatibus absolutely lobbied for TJ admission reforms. She spoke out about in multiple school board meetings. I remember watching as a TJ parent the school board meetings during the pandemic.

I was incensed that our kids were not in school, facing learning deficits, and all we were worried about was changing the TJ admissions processes. What about the pandemic and getting kids back to school. There were more important issues at the time to worry about. Brabrand started lobbying for the changes with the Minneapolis riots/BLM movement and Bonitatibus picked it up. So yes, school board voted in the changes, it was Brabrand and Bonitatibus lobbying for the changes.

When will FCPS figure out that hiring people from horrible schools districts from the west coast (Reid - Seattle and Bonitatibus - Los Angeles) is not a recipe for success?

If they had Geoff Jones I don't know why they'd need anything else. He was the one who made TJ what it was and there's been really no one even close to his caliber at TJ since. I should know - I was there both before and after he left.
