Nobody is listening to rap songs from 20 and 30 years ago. It's so dated and awful. While country music from the 90s and early 2000s gets tons of play and makes big money for those artists.

Really hard to say if he's rich. Who owns his catalog, how many points does he get off streams, who gets the royalties? Wouldn't be surprised if he got screwed. He was desperate uneducated trailer trash when he signed 26 years ago. And struggled with drugs for most of his career.

He’s so well respected and has been making music for decades, he’s definitely earned rap icon status.

I know when he initially became huge he was well known for his kind of satirical kind of honest over the top on purpose offensive lyrics but he is incredibly talented.

Eminem’s verses in Godzilla are some of the craziest I’ve ever heard and lest anyone think he’s washed this is only from 4 years ago. “Lyrical technician, an electrician, y’all light work.”

That house is walking distance from my teenage home. It was surrounded by woods and used to have a little booth at the end of the driveway with a bodyguard sitting. I can't believe it sold for that little because the property alone must be valuable. It must have been falling apart!

Look at the photos in the article. I know it says it wasn't his primary home, but I still wasn't expecting to see honey oak cabinets and baby blue laminate countertops in the kitchen and bathroom.
