I think Teslas are heavier than most large SUVs. How is that not dangerous (as well as damaging to roadways)?

So it’s a smidge smaller than an Escalade? I think Escalades are obnoxiously large to deal with on the road and in parking lots, but not more than a pick up truck I guess and I think you’re unduly hung up on this.

I had to drive an Escalade rental car and it had a front facing camera. It was so weird. It was a live view out the front of the car, to cover the blind spot below the windshield. It took a little getting used to, but I imagine big trucks and delivery vans have the same thing?

I don't know about a Tesla, but the Rivian SUV definitely would be.

Not just the Jeep but it seems that all cars are putting on weight. Compare the lowly Toyota Camry or Corolla of 20 years ago to the same model today. Ditto the Subaru Forester: originally a cute, practical car with AWD, now an overgrown SUV.

Interesting take. I like the car. Do not have one but it looks great both outside and in. Decent reviews. Jeep Train rated so I like that. Might be a little big but I do not see what the issue is. Some people like big cars. Not sure what your issue is. Many people feel the same way you feel except they hate small cars. I am not getting in the fight. Someday we will all have electric cars. My guess is that will be in 30 or so years when the battery technology is actually there. When that day comes --- there still will be big cars and people will drive them. You should find something else to fight against.

Big cars are stupid because there are more bad than good reasons to drive one. They are much, much more deadly for pedestrians and everyone around around them. They also pollute the environment much more and consume huge amounts of energy unnecessarily. They’re dumb AF vehicles. The only reason these puke worthy sized cars are allowed to exist is because of govt loopholes that the car industry lobbied for. They should be regulated as trucks that require commercial driver’s licenses to operate. No where else in the world do people drive stupidly sized cars like this.

It’s like 2 ft longer and 1 ft wider.
