Fairfax Union Girls ECNL

He’s now an assistant coach to 2 FVU teams and is the main coach of the 2013 MYS girls green team. MYS replaced him at TD. See the trend?

Any insight if this is true? If what I heard is true then sound like CW is trying to do right by the players at a young age. We should encourage more coaches to do this.

“Focusing on development” = can’t win

But would that be better in the long run? Speaking from someone whose kid isn't a starter. My kid works hard but she stills not at the level of the starters (at other clubs) and with limited playing time, it's very hard for her to figure out how to turn it on when she has 10 mins of the game time. We would appreciate a little more playing time so she can be developed and hopefully one of the starter one day.

She's not a natural talent - it seems like most top players I see, they come with both, nature and nurture.

2009 roster is 22. That’s small?

2008 roster looks like 25

Where do you see the roster posted?

If you are on one of the teams the rosters are in playmetrics.

It's on the ECNL app/site as well.

If you don't win, no real talent will join the team and this will lead to the current talent leaving to other clubs, hence having a mediocre team during the high school years.

We were in the same boat as you two years ago. We increased her personal training (soccer, speed and agility) and also asked the club to play her on the lower team when she does not have conflicts with the ENCL team - more playing time (it will not cost you anything as you are part of the club and there is no shame in playing down - have to put the echo aside). On the lower team she played most of the game. Now she is a regular starter and never comes off the field on her ECNL team.

She has to put in the work (outwork everyone on the team)

Vienna girls' coaches are strong. Results speak for themselves. Did your club develop a U15 UWNT player recently?

Yes. NOVA has 3 players in the U15 national pool. All 3 of them play for the same club. One is recovering from a major injury.

Lies, playing time was not equal or balanced at all.

We heard 09 could be 35

25 or 35…. Wow, that’s ridiculous.

Ridiculous and affects practices as well. This is a bad start. I thought that these clubs needed to improve to stay in ECNL.

Take your rumors elsewhere. You know how many kids are on your son or daughters team by clicking on roster on playmetrics and ... counting.

Don't waste your breath. Roster Counter Guy has no players on FVU so he can't see Playmetrics. Never has. He's just a one-trick troll.
