None moved to ECNL?

I don’t think any of them wanted to try out. They are happy where they are.

They weren’t invited to try out.

Ha! Several were invited.

If this year turns out to be a hot mess, then we will be looking next year.

This! Hopefully FVU Management is paying attention. The top talent that decided to stay will be looking if its a hot mess this year.

I heard Vienna and BRYC are doing more on the admin and MYS is more on the coaching?

FVU here. Feeling hopeful, players seem happy, but most unhappy with roster size. It looks likes quantity over quality. It's going cause issues during this recruiting season. Overall, most teams have talented players and the season should be competitive.

If BRYC is managing things- watch out. They are probably the worst run club in the area.

And McLean are the worst coached. Imagine getting screamed at and verbally abused by pompous coaches and losing a champions league game 0-10.

PP here, that’s what I heard. My kid is in one of the younger teams. Vienna and BRYC on admin and MYS on coaching. I also don’t think this sounds good but if someone knows something else do tell.

Vienna and BRYC do not have good coaching.

Vienna girls' coaches are strong. Results speak for themselves. Did your club develop a U15 UWNT player recently?

And this player decided to leave her Vienna coach and club. So what does that tell you?

To say any club “developed” a national team player is ridiculous. The player would have been just as good if they chose to play at a different club.

VDA (via BRYC), Union (via her Dad) and FCV have UWNT players. Great success to the Brave player but don’t think there aren’t others and that Vienna is the reason for her success.

VDA also has/had YNT players aside from the one mentioned here but nice try!

Last year I heard CW was focusing on development and the team had about equal playing time which frustrated some families.

Any insight if this is true? If what I heard is true then sound like CW is trying to do right by the players at a young age. We should encourage more coaches to do this.

“Focusing on development” = can’t win
