But would that be better in the long run? Speaking from someone whose kid isn't a starter. My kid works hard but she stills not at the level of the starters (at other clubs) and with limited playing time, it's very hard for her to figure out how to turn it on when she has 10 mins of the game time. We would appreciate a little more playing time so she can be developed and hopefully one of the starter one day.

If you don't win, no real talent will join the team and this will lead to the current talent leaving to other clubs, hence having a mediocre team during the high school years.
