Spinoff: How many times in your life have you felt physical chemistry?

I can easily tell you the last time. I met this guy in a professional situation where I felt a spark. I didn't see him again for maybe 3 or 4 years. We both took new jobs that are the same but at separate organizations and we see each other professionally a few times a year. I feel the chemistry and seriously doubt it's one-sided. I just stay away from him as much as possible. I keep waiting for it to fade but it doesn't.

I thought I had experienced it until I met my now husband but it took two years for it to be realized as he was dating someone else. My feelings were really intense and when he became available I asked him out, a first for me. My libido had always been pretty tame but after one night with him that changed. We are in our late 50s and it is still intense.

It’s been over a year, I don’t know if coworkers can tell. They do know we are very good friends.
