The thread below got me thinking about chemistry and if I’ve ever had it.
So how many people have you had chemistry with and how would you describe it? |
| Would feel it with 2-3 men a year on average |
| Is this a trick question? Do I have to go back to the first boy I kissed in middle school? I’m not sure I could count. Or do you mean something specific by “physical chemistry” like a really extreme level? |
| A lot. Doubt I'd be able to come up with a number. |
Yes, like extreme. |
Like extreme crush- can’t stop thinking about them and together all the time? Only one man ever made me feel like this. We didn’t work out. I was heartbroken and gave more importance to other qualities in my next partners. |
|
In terms of attraction and sexual chemistry? If I'm actively looking for a guy, can probably find 2-3 in a year.
In terms of crazy deep mad love? Only 2 at best 3 so far in close to 50 years. |
|
A million. Lol
But it does not mean much to me. |
Same here. It's really easy for me to experience physical/sexual chemistry. It's much hard to find that and long term compatibility. I'm late 50s and can only think of two instances and one of them is my DH. |
|
Extreme physical chemistry? Probably at least 10 times? Maybe up to 20? I'm 53, so I've kind of lost count.
But what does it feel like? Extreme physical attraction. Like there is a pull between the two of you. Like magnets. And there's a feeling of excitement. And you feel sexy and attractive. It's magical, really. And can be very strong. |
| If we're talking about that instant they set my world on fire feeling, one. |
|
Twice.
First time, I was 26 and had just started a new job. I saw him and BAM. It was so intense just the sight of him made me stop breathing. He felt the same about me. We briefly dated/slept together, but our personalities clashed terribly. Still the most gorgeous man I've ever seen in my life. Second is my current H. I wasn't feeling any chemistry the first couple dates, but the third one he had his hair down (was in a man bun for our first 2) and I was smitten. Our physical chemistry is still crazy and keeps growing every year. First one was a flash in the pan (crazy intense but short lived), second was a slow burn (slower to start but has lasted longer). |
| With my husband, when I was 16. It was like we were magnets. We did not date for years but every time we saw each other we were so drawn to one another. |
|
really strong? maybe a dozen
"hey, he's cute" - too many to count -46 year old woman |
thanks for confirming that guys with man buns are sexy 😉 |
