I've had extreme crushes, but one one man did I ever have the EXTREME chemistry with. I'm glad I didn't miss it.

I would say 5 times. One of them was after I was engaged so I never touched the guy but there was an extreme attraction.
Still have it with my husband which is what keeps us together because we're not really a match in other ways.

All the time, with men and women. I think some people have naturally more “chemistry” with others. I’ve known women who say they are never attracted to or fantasize about anyone but their husbands and I think that is absolutely fascinating. I have chemistry with strangers I chat with in line at the grocery store! It’s the slight twinkle in your eye, the smirk, the tiny moment where two people recognize something in the other person that is humorous, flirtatious and fun.

Well that is run of the mill attraction and happens all the time. To me extreme physical chemistry is different. It hit like a lightning bolt and I just could keep away. Completely like a drug and I had to be around him to get my hits. I was not in control of it at all and it was all consuming, not fleeting.

First time, I was 26 and had just started a new job. I saw him and BAM. It was so intense just the sight of him made me stop breathing. He felt the same about me. We briefly dated/slept together, but our personalities clashed terribly. Still the most gorgeous man I've ever seen in my life.

Second is my current H. I wasn't feeling any chemistry the first couple dates, but the third one he had his hair down (was in a man bun for our first 2) and I was smitten. Our physical chemistry is still crazy and keeps growing every year.

First one was a flash in the pan (crazy intense but short lived), second was a slow burn (slower to start but has lasted longer).

thanks for confirming that guys with man buns are sexy 😉

PP here. So H's hair is SO long, thick, and luxurious, that when we're out, men will compliment him on his hair and sometimes pay for our dinner. It's the weirdest thing.

Both my first chemistry guy and H were similar - very tall, very skinny, with VERY thick & long hair.

I have a calm chemistry with my current partner and always feel safe and relaxed, my body loves him too and I feel like I'm at my sexual peak.

I have one boyfriend who I was literally obsessed with. I don't think I ever orgasmed back then but I couldn't get enough of him. Back then it was probably a trauma response and I was trying to "win" his love.

Was the sex actually good or was there just high attraction?

There was a guy that I liked for months in college. When we finally connected it was really a disappointment. Maybe I had built it up in my head too much?

One man, every time is is around. I just can't keep my hands to myself.

I had physical chemistry sophomore year. Very tough grind. Was glad to get out of there with a B.

Strong sexual chemistry that was just there - four.

Twice with complete strangers - One was a guy selling me shoes, once it was with a guy sitting beside me on a plane. Just an intense pheromone attraction.

Twice with guys I knew. Both were coworkers.

I just don't feel that intense sexual chemistry / attraction easily. Normally I have to really work at getting to know someone and at developing chemistry.

Very envious of those who have instant chemistry often.

Five with instant chemistry, only four of them I actually dated. Of those, two were incredible in bed. We were too young / circumstances just didn’t work out. Another two were longer relationships but the sex was honestly not nearly as good as the initial attraction had me hoping and eventually it fizzled out. With DH it was a very slow burn at the beginning.

You just never know. Chemistry at the beginning is not an indicator of relationship success in my experience.

Just touching my boyfriends forearm turns me on. So yeah we have great chemistry. But I’ve had it with a lot of men in my life. It’s not that deep.

I had it with my first love in college. We met online and talked on the phone for two weeks before meeting. He told me he loved me before we even met. I loved him too. Once we met in person it was one! We could not get enough of each other. I missed a lot of my classes my sophomore year because we couldn’t get out of bed. We were madly in love and together for 3 years.

I’ve felt lesser but strong chemistry with 4 other guys. It never get love with them though just purely sexual.

3. College boyfriend, husband and a guy I was in a workout class with more recently. It became too intense and I’ve stopped going to it because I love my husband too much.
