And you’d be a moron for blaming Biden when you SHOULD instead be blaming Governor Abott of Texas and Governor DeSantis of Florida for shipping people to other states instead of taking care of them where they came into America.

Massachusetts needs to sue Texas and Florida into bankruptcy.

Why should Texas and Florida bear the brunt of the Biden Harris open border policy? Massachusetts has plenty of sanctuary cities to help spread the burden. Or are they just sanctuary cities until the migrants actually show up?

Because Texas and Florida get extra money to help with this. Massachusetts does not.

But maybe the taxpayers in TX and FL would rather see those resources used for, you know, things like their own public schools, better roads, nice improvements to their infrastructure, maybe some new senior centers? Not handout to migrants. If my kids’ school is 80 years old and I’d like to see a new one built, I sure as hell would vote to pay for that first above feeding millions of non citizens.

That's funny, Texas and Florida also get money for those things. But they specifically get extra money compared to other states to deal to help house and process migrants. They spent MORE than that federal money that they get specifically for those purposes to shuttle migrants to other parts of the country instead.

If you’re in downtown DC, look out the window. You’ll see we have enough poverty-stricken people living right here on the streets. Let’s put out extra money to use for them.

What does that have to do with the current thread?

Everything. Were breaking the bank for non citizens while our own suffer?

That doesn't actually answer the point being made here: Texas and Florida specifically get money to deal with this, that other states like Massachusetts do not get. Which contributes to the situation that Massachusetts is in right now. That doesn't have anything to do with funding for poverty-stricken people here in DC (which I should remind you has more to do with how the Republican-led Congress has decided to fund DC).

How about every city across the US with a sizable homeless population? Boston, NY, San Fran, Phoenix, you name it. Exactly as you say, federal taxpayer money is sent to TX and Florida to deal with this— when we have a problem right in front of us that we should be addressing first. Homeless CITIZENS.

Maybe they don’t want to house and process them because they don’t have the resources and infrastructure (nor do they want to devote the resources and infrastructure) that comes with housing and processing migrants.

Take $20 out if your wallet and set it aside for the migrants. Do that everyday for the next 365 days. On day 365, take a look at that big pile of twenties. Ready to fork it over to the migrants— or to your kids’ school?

If everyone else did the same thing then why would I care? It would all even out.

It'd be so great if Democrats could run against the devastation that illegal migrants cause - from low wages to crime to overwhelmed schools to high rents to inflation.

It's mystifying why Democrats aren't drawing a line. It's the number one reason that breathes oxygen into Trump and the GOP.

Observing this, it seems pretty clear that Democrats value DEI over working class interests. And well, F' em for that.

Homeless Americans are often drug addicts. They want to do drugs. They don’t want to give up drugs to go into a shelter, which is a requirement (or at least it was when I lived in AZ).

If there's any issue that'll possibly give Trump a win, it's this one.

Senator Warren is all in for letting in more and granting amnesty and citizenship.

Granting them citizenship is a great idea. Do it in time for them to vote in November.

Not at all fair to the legal immigrants who are working hard to learn English and pass their citizenship test.

Depending on what family-sponsored category one falls under, some people who applied for citizenship MORE THAN TWENTY YEARS AGO are still awaiting an interview for their green card. I'd be livid if that were me.

Then enjoy your increased taxes and over crowded and over burdened schools.

They are already registered to vote in GA, and I’m sure other states:
