But maybe the taxpayers in TX and FL would rather see those resources used for, you know, things like their own public schools, better roads, nice improvements to their infrastructure, maybe some new senior centers? Not handout to migrants. If my kids’ school is 80 years old and I’d like to see a new one built, I sure as hell would vote to pay for that first above feeding millions of non citizens.

That doesn't solve the issue of overcrowded schools and the need to hire a majority of ESOL teachers. There was already a teacher shortage that began decades ago. Overcrowded schools + understaffed. No wonder the current burnout rate is at an all-time low of 3 years.
