But maybe the taxpayers in TX and FL would rather see those resources used for, you know, things like their own public schools, better roads, nice improvements to their infrastructure, maybe some new senior centers? Not handout to migrants. If my kids’ school is 80 years old and I’d like to see a new one built, I sure as hell would vote to pay for that first above feeding millions of non citizens. |
This. |
Looks like Massachusetts should have their hand out for federal money too. But that would require an admission that the border is out of control. Wait until their public schools start tanking too because of this! |
Not saying it was the right thing to do but why should Texas and Florida bear the full burden?? |
For the same reason that Texas doesn’t pay for snow storms in Mass. |
HAHAHHAHAHAAHHAHAHAHAHAH |
take the extra money away from TX and FL and send it to NY and MA. Or, MA should do a reverse commute and send the migrants back to TX. |
This is your response to inconvenient facts? How typical. Keep up the gaslighting. |
That doesn't solve the issue of overcrowded schools and the need to hire a majority of ESOL teachers. There was already a teacher shortage that began decades ago. Overcrowded schools + understaffed. No wonder the current burnout rate is at an all-time low of 3 years. |
No, don't provide shelters and the migrants will move on. |
Senator Warren is all in for letting in more and granting amnesty and citizenship. |
| Mass got rid of its flat tax, so they can raise taxes on the rich to pay for it. |
Wow, speaking of morons ^^ How like a Democrat to insist that Texas take care of all illegal immigrants that enter the state. Out of sight out of mind, amirite? |
Why ? They’re red states. F’ them. Let them go broke. Not like they’re spending money on public schools anyway. |
Is this a serious post? |
