Head was all about sports and they gave a lot of money to PG County kids who ran track. |
| Recruiting and money. They fly to track meets, have multiple track uniforms, sneakers, etc. then it has built on itself. It’s like a D1 college program. They are top in the country. |
| Do they give money for track athletes? Asking for my younger kid (sibling is currently excelling at track). |
The school is very lucky to have him. Matt Trammel was a huge asset to Bullis. |
Huge asset; really helped move Bullis forward. Don’t get why they are replacing him with the previous guy. |

The BOT at Bullis is a disaster.
You agree to name the new STEM building (beautiful building by the way) after the current headmaster who was a scumbag who was still serving at the school. And most recently the BOT has agreed to remove the name "Boarman" from the STEM building after all the shit that has come out. Talk about complete incompetence... |
| The school is really into itself and the Board is horrible. And they hired this Head whom the faculty dislike. Hence, high turnover. |
| Just a reminder to anyone who thinks this thread has a merit—all of the negative comments are a small group of former disgruntled teachers. Who else has an interest in posting this crap. |
| Here’s the deranged Bullis staff person again who thinks it’s a “disgruntled” staff person (or now, persons). I’m sure you’d like that to be the case. I have written on this post and I am not a disgruntled former staff person. Promise. |
| Former, current same thing. Your threads are so obvious from the start. Just like your latest about bullis GPAs. I will be commenting on that one too. Keep wasting your time. |

To the "disgruntled teacher" accuser -
You do realize that you're coming off as obsessive and potentially psychotic, right? |
And to think that it is probably someone who is an administrator at Bullis… |
|
It's tricky for trolls when it comes to the numbers:
Bullis enrollment 2019 =806 Bullis enrollment 2024 =1060 Now full with waitlists. Something special has happened. And percentage going to financial aid has come down - the growth is despite FA going down. And here's the college placement (one of many reasons families want to come.) https://www.bullis.org/bullis-class-of-2024-matriculation |

The OP's post wasn't about Bullis numbers (and btw, any school can grow if their size is not limited by location...and MCPS was a Covid disaster and every school saw an uptick). It was about the sad loss of their great AD and the school's decision to reinstate the previous AD who was in the job under the previous awful leadership.
The defensiveness of the school is beyond the pale. Tells you something. |
Covid happened and MCPS had and continues to have a mass exodus. |
