Bullis Admissions Director

Sad news that the guy who worked hard to try and make Bullis more selective is leaving. Even more sad is that the guy who had the job before and did nothing to make the school more selective is taking over. We are very disappointed in this decision. Anyone else?

This is TERRIBLE NEWS. The goal of admissions is to be SELECTIVE. I am also DISAPPOINTED!

We are disappointed, but are more disappointed that Bullis seems to be losing a lot of great teachers due to administrative decisions. Several of my child’s favorite teachers left this year. Something isn’t right.

When you say “We”, I assume you mean disgruntled former employee.

Omg this person comments every time someone points out Bullis faculty retention… almost like they are trying to deflect the spotlight put on them.

I’m not sure the goal of Admissions is to be “selective”.

The goal of Admissions is to fill the classes and address the needs of all the constituencies on the campus.

The goal of admissions is to be selective so you can claim it is more rigorous than other schools and your child is thus smarter. If child doesn’t do well in college admissions, then you blame it on grade inflation at other less selective schools

v

So many teachers left/leaving this year! There is definitely a need to look at why that is.

Says the person (ie, former disgruntled employee) who is always showing up on the anti-Bullis threads.

What’s wrong with you? Can you not handle some criticism like every other school does? Are you a reflection of Bullis because, if so, that’s some psycho stuff happening.

Tinfoil theory:

What if the person pointing their finger at the "disgruntled employee" is the actual admin that's causing the disgruntled employees to leave?
