| I quit wearing pads when I was about 25--and for the 10 years leading up, only used them in conjunction with tampons in case of leaks. Ditched them and no regrets. Period underwear are pretty great too. I tried two different cups but hated them both---lots of choices out there; if pads are chaffing or not doing their job, maybe try period underwear. |
I wear pads as a back up for tampons, because I'm a teacher so I can't always predict when I'll make it to the bathroom. I'm also Catholic, which has nothing to do with the menstrual products I use. Except for the one or two people I know who have borrowed tampons from me, I have no idea what any one else uses. How on Earth do you know what so many women do? |
NP. This is probably due to pelvic floor issues, not religious issues. I know multiple women who have difficulty tolerating tampons after having kids that used to use them pre-kids. |
