Women Question - Why wingless maxi pads? Particularly wingless overnight pads

Anonymous
I quit wearing pads when I was about 25--and for the 10 years leading up, only used them in conjunction with tampons in case of leaks. Ditched them and no regrets. Period underwear are pretty great too. I tried two different cups but hated them both---lots of choices out there; if pads are chaffing or not doing their job, maybe try period underwear.

+1. And are you religious? I'd add that as another question. I haven't worn a pad since middle school but know a few Catholic moms of 5+ that won't go near a tampon or cup. Weird to me, but whatever I guess. Stay poolside with the diaper.

I wear pads as a back up for tampons, because I'm a teacher so I can't always predict when I'll make it to the bathroom.

I'm also Catholic, which has nothing to do with the menstrual products I use.

Except for the one or two people I know who have borrowed tampons from me, I have no idea what any one else uses. How on Earth do you know what so many women do?

NP. This is probably due to pelvic floor issues, not religious issues. I know multiple women who have difficulty tolerating tampons after having kids that used to use them pre-kids.
