| Heavy flow lady here but are wingless pads better? Not that the wings don’t leak on me as it is but are wingless better? |
|
I find I get really irritated by the wings chafing, so I prefer wingless.
|
Same or they come unstuck and just aren’t doing their jobs. I don’t have a super heavy flow though. But I find that on my heaviest days (when my cramps are also bad and I don’t want to wear a tampon) the wingless Always thin pads - the ones in the green packages - work just fine. |
| I have to use wings because my flow is so heavy blood goes everywhere. I can't imagine using wingless. |
| I have flaps and rudders as well. |
| I actually trim the wings with scissors so they don't crinkle up and chafe. |
| I hate the wing ones. I’m having problem lately that the pads aren’t sticking to the underwear. Really annoying |
I really think Always is using less glue or different glue. When using a longer overnight pad sometimes I need to use liners to tape down the pad! Such a waste. |
Unfortunately for me, I find wings less likely to stay in place. |
| I have never liked the wings. They unstick from my underwear and end up sticking to my parts. I find them very irritating. |

Wingless pads are so freeing and convenient. Just got done with my period two days ago and only used wingless pads. I usually have a heavy flow too, although this month it ended up being lighter than usual.
Even on my heavy flow cycles, I've never had a problem with wingless pads. |

I bought some of the overnight wingless by mistake, and they've never actually leaked... but I always wonder if they will, one day, so I understand your concern, OP. Maybe it depends on whether you toss and turn during the night. Also they're thicker, so perhaps the thickness helps them stay in place.
For day wear, I always use pads with wings. Otherwise it's leaks all the time. |
| I have to use the wings or it leaks all over wingless are pointless unless you don't move around at all and sit straight up in a chair and don't learn, move, walk or run lol not at all practical. |
| Very interesting! I thought that men kept pushing them. Lol! |
That’s a genius idea. And they’t fall apart? |
