Why don’t you just do cheesesteak for everyone?

Exactly! OP you don’t get your kid something special. And why won’t you answer the question about what other parents have done? Just follow what they did.

The easiest and best is Chick fila sandwiches, we get 2 per boy, pickles on the side, extra chick fila sauce. They will give you a warming bag to keep them warm.

2nd is Chipotle and they can make their own, it's a buffet and they give you everything you need.

We do ziti and chicken parm from an italian restaurant a lot

I don’t really have a budget.

This is for a HS tennis team.

Should I also be buying for parents?

It is meal time and they will also be hungry?

It's meal time and you're asking if you should have enough food for everyone,? Are you the cheap poster who wants to charge guests $15.00 for Memorial Day cookout! Where serving food you have enough for everyone or you don't serve food.

I was told to buy enough for 20, which does not include the parents.

I would not charge for a party I am hosting. Not sure why you would put me in the same category. I’m trying to buy food for my kids’ sports team.

Ignore the PP who is trying to shame you. A party and a sports team are completely different scenarios. My kids' teams never bought for the parents.
