Good meal to bring to sports tournaments ?

Our team takes turns bringing meals to tournaments so everyone doesn’t have to go out to get meals. It is now my turn to being the next meal.

What are some good options?

This is a step up from when parents took turns bringing a snack and drinks.

I was thinking Chipotle but I know everyone would have different preferences. I know just for our family of five, we want very different things. I don’t think we will have the space to set up a burrito bar.

Chick Fil-A trays

Can order via app and in my experience, they are always super efficient. Chipotle not so much.

On tournament trips we’ve had chaperones make Costco/grocery runs and get sandwich fixings, fruit, chips and drinks and let everyone make their own sandwiches. Usually one or two families who drive will bring a folding table to facilitate this.

I buy dinners for a college sports team. Do you have a budget?

The easiest and best is Chick fila sandwiches, we get 2 per boy, pickles on the side, extra chick fila sauce. They will give you a warming bag to keep them warm.

2nd is Chipotle and they can make their own, it's a buffet and they give you everything you need.

We do ziti and chicken parm from an italian restaurant a lot

What sport and how many athletes?
Is it a good set up for meals where there are tables and chairs and another table/space for you to serve from? Or will this be a situation where the food is served tail-gate style from the back of your SUV, and the athletes sit on a curb with a paper plate balanced on their lap?

This is for a HS tennis team.

Should I also be buying for parents?

It is meal time and they will also be hungry?

Second Chick fil A sandwiches. Our swim team sells these at concessions and the kids love them.

I think trays of sandwiches or pre-made burritos makes the most sense.
