“Officer I thought the speed limit was 70, honest!” |
Just like OJ. Oh wait.... |

If you are wondering about why he didn't "see" something - it was raining and dark.
I have no doubt he thought police were there to direct traffic for the golf tournament. He didn't know about the accident. Think about it, people. Why would he intentionally ignore directions of police officers at the scene of a fatal accident? He wouldn't. |
not sure it matters here, but he has a pretty solid reputation on tour as being squeaky clean and just a good guy |
| It doesn’t make sense that someone at the peak of their career with no criminal history would just randomly decide to start committing crimes for no reason at 5:00 on the way in to say 2 of a prestigious golf tournament. |
Well yeah but it’s not hard to imagine he might be a bad driver who was careless and caused an injury. |
The excuses never end for the privileged white guy. Hilarious. |
Last week Rory whatsisface was crazy about his wife though. |
| I don’t think he hit the cop. I think the cop grabbed the car when he didn’t stop and got dragged a little due to holding onto the car. |
Who knew you had so much concern for cops who get their feelings hurt. |
This. Idiotic move on the cop's part. What did he think this was going to accomplish? |
|
One panicked cop that didn't know how to handle a chaotic situation.
It's at the entrance to Valhalla and accident or no, the cops should have been able to handle the situation better. There was no reason to play the authority card and arrest anyone. Typical city cop who was maybe one level above a security guard trying to assert his authority. This guy needs to go back to the police academy and learn the rules of how to be a real cop and use good judgment. If I were Scottie's attorney I would be suing the Louisville P.D. and the arresting cop for using unnecessary force in the arrest. Also, there should have never been an arrest. I hope the cop gets his ass handed to him. |
Not sure what you're trying to say but Rory's been around awhile and has a pretty unblemished record in the golf world |

He should have complied. Isn’t that what they say? |
