That's right, because it's the woman's job |
NP - I had AOL in my 20s. Also bitnet in college. And yes, I am still a Gen Xer. Thanks for posting the videos. I think I made my first family calendar! |
| We have a family google calendar and we enter everything there. Anything that is happening during the workweek, I forward to mine and/or my husband's work email so that our work calendars include any calendar events such as doctor appts, soccer practices, etc. |
For an iPhone, go to any Apple Store. Their customer service agents are fantastic and will show you how to do any of this. They’ll usually take the time to walk you through it with them, too. This goes for anything you need - a new app, OS update, configuration help, etc. And I’ve _never_ had them try to sell me an upgrade at all! They really are there for you, not for sales. You might want to call them and see if you can walk in or need to schedule a time - I’m not sure how busy they are leading up to Christmas. |
| We like Cozi |
Love Cozi!!!! - Can subscribe to school and rec team calendars. - Cannot it up so that it syncs with Google (do this because one kid uses this) - Color coded by family member - Can easily add with AI (for example, type “add a 2hr lunch at 1pm Sat for Becky”) - shared grocery lists - can create shared to do lists The free version used to be enough, but they to my changed it so you need the $30/yr paid version to view by month on the app or add more than 3 months out. |
Second bullet should say, “can set it up to sync with Google” instead of “cannot….” |
Right - this husband sounds like a real winner to - he has nothing else going on in his life -- no appointments, no where to be and nothing to do... just in a cage in the basement on standby ready to take orders. |
|
I was looking for this myself, similar to the one we had on the fridge so I made one.
It only supports Apple devices, you can add all family members, all events, to do list, shopping list is synced instantly with your family. If you try it out, please let me know if there is something I have missed that would be great to have! Try it if you want

FYI, we used to have Cozi - used it for many years. And then I discovered Google Calendar does everything that Cozi does, but for free!
- Color-coded calendars for every family member - syncs with all the sports and activity calendars from wherever, including TeamSnap - syncs with TripIt for all our family travel plans - easily syncs with Skylight - teens can add their activities on to the calendar directly We use the Alexa grocery list, which was really the only reason I hung on to Cozi for as long as I did. That way both DH and I have the list on our phones and can check things off as we go. |
