Marijuana

I hope you don’t smoke around your kids. Secondhand smoke is bad for their developing brains. If you’re willing to cause them brain damage so that you can get high, I definitely consider you a loser, regardless of how prestigious your career might be.

I hope you never drive under even the least possible chance of influence. I don’t want to rely on your judgment that you’re not impaired too much to drive, any more than I want to trust a drinker to decide they’re safe to drive. Even if your kids aren’t in the car with you, putting them in danger, everyone else on the road is in peril, and that might be my kids.

It sounds like every evening, OP has had either alcohol or marijuana. What are the chances she and DH never drive in the evenings?

Probably pretty slim, unfortunately. At least with alcohol, there’s a clearly defined, objective, quantifiable legal limit and tests that can accurately determine blood alcohol levels. I think marijuana is just as dangerous, but without those measures in place to serve as a deterrent.

It has been objectively proven in this thread by two posters that driving high is safer.

In this thread? I went back and specifically looked for it, and couldn’t find anyone making that argument, much less providing “objective proof”. Would you please post the time/date stamps for the posters who you feel proved that driving high is safer?

Moreover, proving that something is safer than something known to be dangerous is not the same as proving it is safe. Is there any evidence that marijuana does not impair driving and that driving high as a kite is “objectively” as safe as driving sober?

I eat magic mint. Takes an hour to work.
My husband smokes Colorado weed in the garage at night. It's funny because he got that particular weed from someone waiting for their prescription. Good stuff but I can't smoke it or vape. It's too harsh for me.
We are both retired and living the dream.
Don't worry what others do. It's your life your money.
But do get a card.

Notice how mean and ugly these DC people are ? Now that is pathetic. Especially coming from people that take every pharmaceutical known to man.

I'm glad to hear your know you are a loser.

Just going to leave these here for your shrinking pea brain from weed:

The PP to whom you responded was having another marijuana-induced hallucination, obviously.

I know you. You're a arcade game in 1994.

DP here. You are apparently the stoner dropout hanging out in the arcade all day? I remember you, too.

Great, Mr. Hand is posting here.
