The majority of the living working Royals are 70+ with limited time left. Charles presumed to die or abdicate in next few years if not sooner, and Camilla will no longer be queen. Kate not expected to take on all Queen duties based on her condition. They need more working "hands".

Williams kids are growing up fast, peasents like beautiful and handsome Disney characters and compensation is lucrative.

You do know Kate's situation is not permanent. FFS, she will be up and running at Easter. I'm sure she can cover what a 70+ year old can.

But she won't. William and Kate are the lazy ones. Check the roster of royal engagements each year. Zoom calls count, and they can barely pull a few "engagements" every month. Much less a load like Princess Anne.

There was a pandemic for three years and kate was pregnant for there so she is doing enough.

I could see them splitting time between CA and UK, coming back to do "work" for important events. Maybe Harry back even more frequently to do work, particularly if something is keeping William and Kate unable to work (i.e., Kate's health crisis).
