It seems so perverse to have a tax incentive to rack up frozen embryos in storage.

Will genetically unhealthy embryos need to be impacted now? Even though They are not viable or may have very severe birth defects?

Not only that, it is used specifically to allow people that carry genetic diseases to screen embryos before implantation so that they can have a healthy child.

It's a god given miracle of modern medicine and Alabama intends to deny it to its people. Shame on Alabama.

What do you mean subsidize...you mean they require health insurance companies to cover IVF treatment?

Most of the anti-abortion laws on the books now in red states don't provide exceptions for fatal fetal anomalies. Why should they treat abnormal embryos any differently?

Crazy that this is where we are as a country right now. I did IVF/FET to conceive my 2 children. We lost 3 embryos during thaw processes prior to transfers. Yes, it was devastating to me at the time, but I certainly didn't equate it to manslaughter.

The next Pope may very well be a black African.

Folks that do not believe in IVF should not get IVF treatment. Other people were given an amazing IVF treatment by their God to allow them to have a family and it does nto concern you in any way.

These states won't tax their residents to help care for long-term disabled adults and kids. They expect them to go the way of disabled Spartans - ie., tossed off a cliff or abandoned on the mountain to die.
