The odd thing there is GW is 27% Jewish, Columbia 22%, NYU 12%.

Yes lots of Jewish people = riots and targets.
No perfect place.

The recent waves of on campus anti-semitism have been rampant at the most progressive schools -- think coastal and liberal (Berkley, Penn, Columbia, NYU, Cornell, Harvard) etc. , because those open-minded empathetic students fell for an extremist narrative that pits everyone against Israel and Jewish people instead of terrorists versus peace-seeking people of all religions. The more conservative schools and geographies have had relatively less anti-semitism this year.

One more time for the people in the back: Being opposed to the Israeli government and their actions in Gaza does not equal being anti Semitic.

The Jews I know at UF hate DEI and LOVE Ron DeSantis. So factor that into your decision. If you are a committed Republican, you’ll enjoy it there.

The progressive far left, including the DEI crowd, is a hotbed of antisemitism and anti-Israel sentiment now. You don't have to be a committed Republican to want to avoid them.

Yeah unfortunately we're getting it from both sides these days, aren't we.

I have a cousin at UF who I don't think is a Republican and she feels very comfortable there. Maybe she's R? I don't think so. She's actually wary of returning up north because of what she perceives as now rampant anti-semitism. Unfortunately we have actual Nazis in Florida to deal with. (I live in a different part of the state, not Tallahassee.)

UF is not a place to send college students religion doesn't matter. Jesus people UF is going to be unaccreddited. Medical school is losing staff like crazy, Professors in Undergraduate science courses are also. Ben Sasse the overload moron is now in charge. No Florida college is worth living in Florida with DeSantis.

UF isn't going to be nonaccredited

Yes Florida schools are losing professors - but UF is and will remain a good school

That seems right, which is nuts

Criticizing the Israeli government is not in itself antisemitic, but let's cut the strawman BS. Calling for the annihilation of the Jewish state is antisemitic. Singling out Israel among all the countries in the world as not having a right to exist is antisemitic. Calling uniquely for sanctions and a boycott of Israel--and no other country in the world, no matter how horrible its government-- is antisemitic. Protecting every minority on campus--except for Jews--is antisemitic. I am not Jewish, by the way, but I oppose anti-Zionism because it is antisemitic.

Also little Cooper Union in NY.

But it does seem to be that most incidents are occurring at the elite, more progressive schools.

Would feel completely comfortable with all the schools listed in OP's post. But something like Charleston is going to be a little more old school. I don't think they'd be unkind to Jews like at Harvard, Penn, NYU etc. But your Jewish child might be the first Jew they've ever met.

Define "annihilation," please. Is it akin to any situation where Palestinians actually have, like, rights, or where the Jewish state can't indiscriminately kill Palestinian children and throw other Palestinians off their land in a never-ending land grab?

If so, your view of "anti-Semitism" is exactly the kind that, whether espoused by Jews or conservative Christians, only breeds more of it.

That’s because there are more Jewish students in these schools. The ones with the fewest problems have very few Jews to be hateful towards.

Tulane and Florida have large numbers of Jews and are listed among those with the least problems. You really should inform yourself you post your bile.
