Racists aren't logical.
That’s more tied to recent immigration than race.

+1. When I was growing up, I always heard the jokes about how lazy Mexican people were. It was so confusing. Looking around, they put whites, Asians, and everyone else to shame in terms of work ethic.

which should tell you there is no valid case

Because there isnt'. Why don't you fools realize that the media plays on the plaintiff's side of these cases? And often there Is "no there there" because anyone can sue in America but few cases ever make it to trial or judgment. grow up and learn before you poist such junk again

Do you think plaintiffs and their lawyers like spending a fortune on loser cases?

It's more than possible that the Plaintiff didn't deserve tenure *and* Dr. Ishii needs to be removed yesterday.

US Legal System has entered the chat.

If he believes that, not very smart to bait the US legal system.

The plaintiff already lost 2/3 of her case. The only check n balance to a frivolous lawsuit is if she has to pay for her losing effort.

She won an award from a different Japanese professor
at Purdue.

Racist doesn't even know how to be racist right. She got her education and PhD in Eastern Europe Belarus and Poland.

That's a very different educational community and culture from USA.

A different department has a Chinese woman filing a discrimination suit.

50% lazy

Jokes aside, while there's a perception of Asians being 'work horses', I think Whites are way more conscientious, work smarter, and don't cut corners. I'm an Asian BTW.

Purdue probably believe the courts will not take anti-white racism seriously. Maybe they are right

First, let me say I do not know the specific facts of the case other than what is stated here.
But if we are only talking a few comments that will be a tough case to get through a dispositive motion. If, however, it's more and it goes to trial, those pretty universally favor plaintiffs. Not always. But lots of people are sympathetic once they hear comments like that.

Article says multiple people making accusations of consistent behavior spanning several years.

The judge in this case is a white girl.

The judge is an adult.

Bruh. Look in a mirror.

The plaintiff is clearly not lazy. However, she didn't get her tenure. She's in a publish or perish world. Not sure of her creds but I am sure these things will come out, whether she's published, or published enough in reputable journals...

Yes, and also whether the bigoted person she's referencing was able to single-handedly sink her tenure case. This is unlikely, since there are multiple levels of review. It'll probably turn out her that her external review letters were not positive due to research output.

The plaintiff's claim is that the head of the dept, born and raised in Tokyo, was in cahoots with another Asian prof to shoot down her tenure. She's pulling out the race card, not realizing Tokyo natives think they are the center of the universe and will not typically collaborate with other Asian country bumpkins. As long as she's playing the race card, let's take her argument to the logical conclusion to say the Tokyo native probably prefers white girls over other Asian bumpkins. So her argument that the Tokyo native was working with another Asian prof to shoot down a white girl, eastern European, makes no sense. She's welcome to speculate all she wants. Tokyo natives have less against white girl country bumpkins than non-Tokyo country bumpkins.

Wow, racism really does tie you up in logical knots.

In any event, as a general matter, it's looking like Asians are more racist than white people.

Yes, because one Asian person making a racist statement means that the other 2 billion+ Asian people are racist.

One Asian person. Sure.

Purdue seems to have a lot of racists, though.
