OP here.
1. Who??? Outside of their states they govern, no one know who these folks are.

Did you read the assignment. Who, if they go in the race TODAY would have a chance to beat Trump? Who has the money, the infrastructure, the nation and foreign policy accomplishment and the name recognition to battle Trump? You all are living in a fantasy of what you want from policy and future. I'm talking about reality. Today. Jan. 22, 2024.

So a campaign held today would be won by someone who is currently actively campaigning? With insight like that, you should be a political consultant

I'm saying, anyone claiming that ANY DEMS will win over Biden isn't dealing with the reality that we are in the campaign. So stop complaining and get to work to keep Trump out of the White House.

Biden won in 2020 and will win again IF We ALL DO THE WORK. So man up and stop complaining. Anyone griping who doesn't lift a finger deserves Trump. Self- government means we all need to be involved in some way or any other. If you are on this board, then you have the time and skills to make a few call, write a letter, send postcards.

Stop B ! T C H I N G, start D O I N G.

Um. We all?

How about— Biden and his team does the work to earn the votes? He’s not polling the way he is with young voters because young people are confused or uninformed, he’s polling that way because he’s doing things they disagree with and expecting them to show up anyway.

So maybe he can “start doing” since he’s the leader of the free world and all?

We're citizens not customers. It's on us to do the work to preserve our country.

Wow people like you really don’t expect much from the leaders in your country huh? Trump is a moron, Biden is a dud. Not interested in voting for either. It’s my right to vote for the Green Party and before you blame me, blame your candidate for being such a colossal failure.

This isn't too complicated: It's your right, and I will blame you when you choose to exercise it in a way that hurts my country.

What does that even mean? Candidates should earn the votes they’re asking for?

Citizens should do what's best for their country. If you think Trump and Biden are equally bad, you're a moron, but if that's the case, you should sit the election out or vote third party. If you think one is in any sense better for the country than the other, you should vote for whichever one you think is better.

But you won’t blame the leader who failed to earn the votes from the citizens of his country because he has not been able to deliver anything meaningful? lol ok. Your leader is currently hurting the country, not me.

Most successful Democratic president in ages and you’re willing to help get Trump back into office for… reasons.

And if a candidate behaves in a way that doesn’t deliver or marginalizes some of his voters, how should they communicate their dissatisfaction? Just show up and vote for him anyway? That’ll show him.

You can't just spew the Biden is weak garbage. List a candidate who you truly think would beat Trump if they get in the race today. And once you put that person down you are stuck with that because that this point in the cycle, there is no changing.

Name your person now or shut up. I'll go first:
President Joe Biden will beat Trump (just like he did 4 years ago).

Biden is the only Democrat who can beat Trump. Trump is mentally incompetent and with each one of his rants it becomes more and more obvious that he is unfit for office. Independents and mentally competent Republicans will vote country over party and Biden may well have a landslide victory.

1. She's not running.
2. Americas aren't electing a woman right now (I'm a woman)
3. No one outside MI or a political junkie knows who she is

1. You’ve changed your criteria since your OP.
2. Says you, since democrats are pinning all their hopes on abortion and turning out women, maybe have a little more respect?
3. Nikki Haley had an even lower profile

OP here.
1. I’ll give you that. She has show no interest in running. But let’s say she wants to run, sadly #2 still holds. People always find some excuse why to not vote for a woman.

Generic Dem can’t raise money, hire a team, get on the ballot. You need to name a person.

I loooooooove that all the fake Democrats (cough cough Republicans and Greens cough cough) are showing their butts on this. So much whining from so many of them for a lack of “perfection” from the Democrats but they’re happy enough to usher in Trump 2.0? Ghouls, ghouls who should know better.

The repetition that Biden is "hurting the country" is a wonderful case study in mass hysteria. By all economic indicators, Biden has done a fantastic job. The "border crisis" is a problem that require BOTH parties to work on it, but Republicans absolutely will not touch it because to do so will make Biden look good in an election year.

Hell, Trump even said he hopes the economy will tank so Biden looks bad, an obvious indication that the GOP is more concerned about politics and power than actual governance and doing what is in the best interests of Americans.

Well at least take responsibility for the actual effect of your vote. The third party is not winning so understand that one of the two will win. Your complaints are just whining if you don't exercise your responsibility to do something to get the better candidate. If you can't differentiate between trump and Biden your analytical abilities are very very weak
