I've lost 8 lbs in a month at 2.5. I stayed at this dose for month 2 but I can see that the weight loss is tapering. I'll go up to to 5 next month.
I've also been pretty strict with my diet. Egg whites and an apple for breakfast, salad or greek yogurt and berries for lunch, and sometype of protein and veggies for dinner. |
How much weight do you need to lose in order to be able to take this? Is it calculated with BMI or some other way? |
I had to get to 10mg before I started to lose weight. Now that I’m close to goal weight, I’d like decrease and maintain the weight at 5 mg. It’s ok to go up and down as soon as you are being followed by a clinician who knows how to manage weight and this class of medications. |
They just moved me to 7.5 because I wasn’t losing weight on lower doses. I’m eating better and less but the scale is not moving. |
15 lbs on 2.5 for 8 weeks. 15 lbs to go til goal weight! |
Just a reminder that no matter the dose you need to do ALL the things.
Be at a calorie deficit every day. Walk 10,000 steps and strength train at least 3x week. Consume tons of water and some electrolytes to offset lowered nutritional intake. Consume 100 G protein per day. Sleep well. Be sure you’re getting a probiotic or fiber. Eat small meals, protein first. It will come off! And these habits will sustain you for when you come off it! |

NP. You are probably just trolling, but steadily dropping a pound a week, coupled with improved diet and exercise, has incredible health benefits. What's wrong with that? |
I'm now on the start of Month 2 at 2.5 and I've lost 10lbs. I'm hungrier than I was last month and I think I'll have to go up to 5 next time. |
This. In a year, that is 52 lbs. - a massive drop. |
