What dose of zepbound do you start losing?

I am currently on 7.5 with no results. Decreased appetite but no wt loss. I was on Wegovy and lost 40 pounds. Lost my insurance so was off everything for 6 months and gained back 20. Now 3 months on Zepbound and at 7.5 with no results.

I’ve been on Zepbound, for 1.5 months and titrated up at the beginning of this month. I have lost over ten pounds since starting (and started with about 40 pounds to lose).

Good luck!

I'm on week 2 at 2.5, and I'm down 5 lbs. Since I'm not hungry, I've been able to be strict with my diet. I eat a frozen Costco egg white thing and an apple in the morning, Greek yogurt with low-sugar granola and fruit at lunch, and some protein and greens for dinner. That's it—my total calories for the day are way down.

The only side effect I've had is insomnia, which is par for the course for me.

Question - so when it stops working, you know because you are hungry again?

you have to either have commercial insurance or get your dr to do a prior authorization.

My insurance told me I had to try wegovy before zepbound.

Yep. I was on Wegovy. Lost 40 lbs. then it stopped working. The insurance is making me try Saxenda first (a step backward from all these drugs). Dr told me they have a FT person who fights insurance companies and more and more are denying those drugs. I have Fed BCBS. Never been a problem before but they’re really making this difficult.

I am on 7.5 and losing on average 1 lb a week (some weeks nothing and some weeks 3lbs). I am eating low carb and 1500 calories a day when I'm not exercising and 1800 when I am.

I started 15 weeks ago and have lost 15 lbs. (Started on 5.0 and moved up 3 weeks ago, but I only take the meds every 10-14 days to save money). Luckily according to my body scan last week, my muscle mass has not decreased at all.

I'm the PP you are responding to. I went to my cardiologist last week (who put me on Zepbound), and my blood pressure was low enough now that I can avoid BP meds. Which might have been for "eternity". The shot will be approved as a pill in a year or two.

I get your need to be snarky, fat people are an easy target, but I am thrilled with this medicine.

First, one pound a week is a healthy, sustainable rate. Second, there is no evidence that it has to be for "eternity." Third, you're a turd.
