Should have worn a necklace to balance it out

No, no, no. The most beautiful part is her gorgeous neck and clavicle. She's already in full sequins and long earrings. Less. Is. More.

I hate the always-necklace look. Let the natural beauty shine. I've even seen tragic women wear necklaces with a turtleneck.

Rosamund Pike. Headpiece isn't really for me, but the Dior dress is beautiful.

Florence Pugh. One of my least favorites.

She was in a ski accident, headpiece designed to cover up facial bruising.

JLo always does glamorous well

I am tired of this hairstyle on her and I really, really wish she'd pulled some of the color from the skirt into her jewelry or makeup. Like I'm imagining some pink or green near her face. I feel like it's a really wasted opportunity to create a really beautiful look. I never say this about Portman but it kind of feels like the dress is wearing her here. She looks checked out (and maybe is, it's been a weird year for her, so kudos to her for doing her job with regards to her new movie which looks good though I have not seen it).

Agreed. it's one of my favorite dresses of the night but she should have done more with hair and jewelry

The dress is a stunner, needed no competing bling. Maybe the earrings could have been a little bolder, the hairstyle more elaborate and elegant.

She does not have good taste. Just because you're young doesn't mean you should skip the bra. Small and saggy is not a great look.

She's probably hard to dress. Not a great figure. Great actress though.

+1 Best she's looked in a long time imo.

Gillian Anderson looks awesome, but I wish someone took the purse for the walk down the carpet.

In what universe does Florence Pugh have saggy breasts?

Rachel Brosnahan. So many dresses I want to just pull up a tad.

I don't know, the purse adds a focal point. Without it she would just look like a melting vanilla ice cream cone. A beautiful one, but still.

This is Kate Beckinsale...apparently.

This dress is suffering from this same weird heaviness, dragging that a lot of dresses last night had. Like it just looks like too much fabric and it feels like it isn't sitting right on her. A lot of it has to do with choosing these dresses that are designed to be worn by someone with great posture and/or who is tall and willowy. Wong is very pretty and there is nothing wrong with her body but this dress was not made for her and doesn't work with her posture or body type at all. It needs to be hemmed, I think the pleating in the bodice is wrongly proportioned, and that it would look better with an either a lightweight fabric or just less fabric overall. I've seen her in one-shoulder, caftan like dresses before and they looked great on her (I think "grecian" is a style preference for her) but they were properly fitted to her body. This looks like a sample they tried to make work.
