Desserts that are exciting for kids but not too unhealthy

The key is to spend the time playing, not just eating junk:
Kids make fruit skewers, or assemble s'mores, play games with a few jelly beans of different colors, etc.

The does makes the poison. Let them play a lot with a little junk food.

Find a local bakery and try something different each time. For special times you can get decorated bundtinis. Or 8” small cake. Georgetown cupcakes are really good. Strawberry cream croissants .

I make no-bake chocolate oatmeal peanut butter cookies. There are lots of recipes if you google. They have plenty of sugar but I cut the sugar in half. And I think the fact they are loaded with fiber helps make up for it.

Another vote for homemade pudding using the store-bought mix. It’s easy to make and kids can help make it. Plus you can define/control portion size.
