| I have heard that other HS principals plan to retire. I hope that Mcps works to convince the good ones to stay. The current central office leaders don’t typically do that but it’s to their detriment. |
|
I'll actually answer the question instead of making wacky claims.
Elementary School: Stephanie Dinga, Stacy Ashton, Joshua Fine, Angie Fish, Desmond Mackall Middle School: James Allrich, Alana Murray, Carla McNeal High School: Vilma Najera, Scott Smith, Rhoshanda Pyles, Robert Dodd Central: Yolanda Allen, Greg Mullenholz, Peter Moran, David Adams |
Any examples? |
I question your judgement if the bolded are your idea of "rising stars" doing good work within MCPS. |
13/16 ain't bad. And if you look at the talent within each level, pickings are slim. What's wrong with those three? |
Would really like to see the objective criteria you base this on!
|
Basic criteria, such as staff/community ratings, respect of their peers, awards won, performance of those schools, professional credentials/writings/academic work, etc. |
Many are principals/directors/associates of some of the poorest performing schools. |
And they do good work in spite of that. They can't control poverty in the area and other factors. They do a good job with what they have. |
One of these worked closely with Beidleman. Shocker. |
Scott Smith worked at Clemente at the same time. Doesn’t mean he had anything to do with that mess. |
Some of these folks will announce plans to leave (by choice) at the end of the year. |
They didn't overlap at Clemente. Smith was there 2015-2018, Beidleman 2012-2014. |
Don't harsh a good buzz! |
He was also once a rising star. |
