Also, I told my tutor we had money to spend and she ordered specialized equipment for my child and it’s going to add it to his bill next week to use up the money. It was an item that Staples wouldn’t have for him.

Oh that is unfortunate. I am sorry. I do wish the system worked more as a reimbursement program vs paying them directly but I guess less room for fraud that way.

Does your child have an IEP? Mine do not. I was under the impression that only children with documented disabilities can use Office Depot/Staples to buy things other than tutoring.

Don’t count on them approving it. They rejected one of our PT provider’s bill for an item used for physical therapy.

Considering I couldn’t get legit tutoring approved through outschool (and no, having the tutor change it didn’t help- outschool tried), I’m for anyone getting their money out anyway possible.

Sorry, I had no problem with Outschool tutoring. My older daughter has had a great math tutor through Outschool since we received the money in August and my younger daughter has taken many classes.
