I’m on the flip side of this.
My sister-in-law’s family arrived and it was clear my niece was sick. I started feeling off yesterday and just woke up feeling worse. This is my busiest time of year for work and I have always told my fam I can’t afford to get sick during the holidays. Also, there were four grandparents at that dinner. If someone is sick, they shouldn’t be socializing. It was common sense before Covid and I don’t understand why people don’t get it. |

I was at the tail end of a stuffy nose and my SIL had something similar. We all let each other know and decided it was worth it.
Fevers though I don’t mess around with. Fever means you stay home pretty much no matter what |
| We had a sick kid at Thanksgiving and now each family has a couple indeed pumping their guts out, including elderly grandparents. Tahoe if you’re sick! |
I’m the person who posted this. My wife tested positive and feels terrible. We cancelled OUR plans for the weekend and will WFH this week because we don’t want to spread the germs. So glad my niece could enjoy Thanksgiving dinner, though. |
