Oh and travel soccer is not a scam?

It is, but travel soccer doesn't force you to buy $250 worth of merchandise for five days of use.

Oh, I must be a horrible soccer mom then, since I thought my 11 year old daughter could proudly wear official AC Milan jerseys, shorts, and socks like Christian Pulisic. I would hate for anyone seeing my daughter wear the same team jersey that the captain and star of the US National Men's Soccer team wears. I had no idea these were throw away, one time use jerseys, shorts, socks, and gymbag. They also have clearly stated you wear the same clothes for the academy.

By selling the kits before the academy selection process...and if we're talking about NCSL, there's nothing "academy" about it...you are basically saying that everyone who shows up will be offered a spot or think people are stupid enough to buy 200% upmarked jerseys, socks, and gym bags because they have a team name on them - and not care about tossing away $250. THIS is what is wrong with soccer in the U.S. A bunch of ruthless adults trying to make a quick buck as opposed to developing talent and fostering knowledge of the game.

Wow you figured it out. People trying to make a profit. Tell me, which sports in the US do not have this happening? Where are these do-gooders who are developing talent without trying to maximize profits from it? I see the same thing in basketball, football, baseball but the US is doing fine developing those talents. Profit motive ain’t the issue. It’s also not going away.

Please send us the link that says the kit is $250. Did you just guess or make the number up? Do you have insider information, or just hiding behind the internet spewing lies? 200% mark up??? So now, you are an AC Milan wholesaler too or more hate and lies from you? Please send the link. I teach my kids to respect people and uplift them It's very easy to put everyone and everything down and tear people apart. It doesn't take intelligence to do that. Do you teach your kids to put down their classmates if they get a better grade on a test too and get jealous of them?

Maybe not all of us want or buy cheap knockoffs or fakes. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out most knockoffs, fakes, and counterfeit items are usually made with much less quality materials and don't last as long. There is a reason why Amazon and Ebay have both cracked down and shut down many 3rd part sellers selling knockoffs, fakes, and counterfeit items. You might as well save even more money and go to a dollar store or Walmart and buy a cheap shirt and iron or sew your team's patch or iron on logo. lol Not knocking it, but just been burned too many times by them.

Wonder if the AC Milan Pulisic Kits will be for sale by the tournament venders over the next two weekends! They are usually $40 for the Shirt and Shorts! Time to stock up on Christmas Gifts!

That says to me they can't qualify for county field permits, so where is their Academy going to be permanently located? Mailing address in Vienna. We all know there is NO field space without building your own somewhere.

I thought the same thing until my hubby told me there is a connection with Mason and the current captain and star of the US Men's National team, Christian Pulisic. His dad and uncle both played soccer at Mason and so did his mom. His dad is even in the Mason Men's Soccer Hall of Fame. Captain America plays for AC Milan, of course. I found out their address is same building as Fairfax County Economic Development Authority, so it's not a mailbox address.

None of what you listed gets someone a deal on field space or access to field space if its not available.

What opposing team? They don't even have any teams yet or say on their website what league their teams will be playing in.

Every team I have seen that relied on GMU for rented field space has struggled with having enough practice space and game fields for league games.
