If its at Hutchison elementary get their early to pick broken glass dog poop and trash off the field.

It appears to be at Hutchison ES. Great.

NCSL needs to enforce standards. If a club can't provide turf fields, they should not be allowed to enter teams.

I agree. One of my kids does NCSL rec and had to play some team on an awful school grass field last year, with temporary goals. it wasn't even lined, they put up cones. This was for older high school boys.

What club only plays on turf?

My U9 played rec with MYS last year and her games were on turf. I disagree that all games need to be on turf that. A nice grass field would be great - problem is you can't maintain grass in this area given the overuse.

Frankly it is preposterous that AC Milan bases its practices and games in Herndon. Most of the players live in Vienna, Great Falls, McLean. Herndon is not the right place for their teams. Another reason to jump ship.

Literally almost everywhere. Look at the ncsl rec schedules.

So no club plays them all on turf?

We are all saying that almost every org plays ALL travel games on turf, and most rec games.

Is English your second language?

A nice grass field is fine unfortunately around here there aren't any.

to be fair, the complaint was from a parent of an opposing team who (reasonably) was not thrilled with playing on really crappy grass fields, when they pay $$ to their club to have turf fields for games.

Is AC Milan is saving money by getting grass permits for games instead of turf? I assume its much cheaper.
