If things get worse for Jewish people

If you would’ve told me 4 years ago that evangelical Trump voters would be the biggest ally of our community in 2023 I would’ve called you insane (among other things). And yet here we are.
They are most definitely not our allies. Christian nationalists are only invested in Jews as fodder for their apocalypse fantasies.
That’s not what I’m seeing.
It's all superficial. Do some reading on why.
You're looking for a total purist alignment. It's not going to happen; evangelical Christians only have so much in common with Jewish people. But they don't need to be in total agreement to be allies. Joe Biden is in favor of a 2 state solution which many people believe would be the end of Israel. Post 10/7 the landscape for Jewish safety looks very different.

As a Christian Republican, I don’t have apocalyptic fantasies. I’m just a sensible person who understands right and wrong. But hey if you don’t want my allyship and look down on me as some kind of crazy person, have fun trying to get the social justice warriors back on your side!!
Way to prove me wrong that your allyship was really deep. So strong that it could only be broken by an anonymous comment on the Internet.

Between that and the warning to Jews in Brooklyn, that's what gave me pause. If history repeats itself, it will be really quick and too late to call a contractor.

Anyone here on a green card or student visa doing the Brooklyn type protests should be given the boot. Green cards are far law abiding Americans who understand we live together in harmony.

Without Israel, American Jews are less safe.

You can dislike Israel’s current government. I do too. But having a Jewish state is essential for our safety because it ideally is a haven.

I’d argue that having countries with strong protections for religious/ethnic minority rights is what is actually essential.

After 2,000 years of genocides, Jews aren’t convinced.

Some Jews are. The US experience should convince you.

Why do people feel so empowered to tell Jews what we should feel?

No, I don’t feel safe in the US right now.

Okay, that’s you. Why do people feel so empowered to say things like “Jews aren’t convinced” as if they all agree?

I kinda think I know more Jews than you.

Or do you make it a habit to tell members of minority groups what the sentiment within their group is?

I didn’t say that. I said if YOU chose not to join forces with my type (in terms of candidates) then you’re stuck with the crazy lefties. My position won’t change.

For any Jewish posters here, do you think Jewish families will reconsider college choices in near future? Vote differently?

I realize you believe that, but I would invite you to understand that when you say / supporting Israel is supporting American Jews, you may actually be undermining your support.

Instead say, this treatment of American Jews is unacceptable.

Don’t tell me what to say.

By all means, speak away.

We have no ability to deport illegals much less green card holders. And even if we could, it wouldn't protect the Jewish American population because so many of their detractors are fellow citizens who've been radicalized.

I already did. You invited me to understand the relationship I have with Israel and told me what to say instead.

I’m part of a minority group and despise it when people treat us like a monolith. If you’re seriously arguing with a statement that Jews don’t all agree, you’re the one who needs to get out of your bubble.

Sounds like you don’t know where your loyalties lie. You are part of the problem. I don’t care what happens to you.

When I criticized Christian Nationalists, why did you take that to mean you?

Wow. At least it’s out in the open now.

Of course all Jews don’t agree. But I have a better sense of the overriding sentiment and it’s absolutely one of being scared.
