I've always wondered about these. Might give them a try!

I am also having Costco protein bars with my coffee when I crave for dessert. Just 1/3 or 1/2. I also have them when traveling as meal replacement.

Costco had a new brand- Clean. They are good. 2 flavors and 15g protein.

+1. At 190 calories, I treat it like my dessert for the day. The peanut butter chocolate is basically a candy bar but with some fiber and 16g protein. I also like the mint cookie flavor (also 190 calories).

Whoa that is a lot of sugar PP - 20%!

Larabars taste the best to me. And have only 3-4 real food ingredients. Nothing artificial. While a good source of protein, they won’t have as much as a “protein bar”. After comparing ingredients on Clif bars, I have changed my son (soccer player) to the Larabars too.

True. I won’t be buying them again.

I wish I liked those.

I wouldn't feel too bad about not liking them. Like the Clean bars that were mentioned, Larabars are also very high in total sugar - naturally occurring and added sugar combined.

It’s better than highly processed foods/artificial sweeteners. The added sugar is 4g. I wouldn’t call that high. Maybe not low but not high. As long as you’re watching your added sugar from other sources, it’s not going to do much harm.
