At 6.5 months postpartum you should not be overly stressing about this, especially if you are breastfeeding. I lost all of my baby weight with both pregnancies, but it didn't come off until I stopped nursing.
Yes, you should set up good habits, like working out and eating healthy. But don't cut healthy carbs if you're nursing. Your body needs them. Just eat a varied, healthy diet and try to fit in a workout for your mental health. |
meal prep and calorie track.
Exercise is for health, diet of for fat loss. If you are too busy to meal prep try a meal service. |
With my first, I didn't lose the baby weight until close to one year pp.
With the second, lost the weight in 2 weeks. Our bodies do weird things sometimes. I would NOT stress about the last 10 lbs. at 6.5 months pp, especially if you're breastfeeding--no dieting please. |
You want to lose all the weight?
1. Stop breastfeeding 2. Workout in the AM - stroller walk 3. Very small dinner without a lot of carbs 4. No snacks 5. No alcohol |
Give yourself time and grace! Your body just went through an incredible transformation. Follow the 10 minute rule--you make 10 minutes for anything. Meal prep. Working out. You don't need to try to fit it in all at once. Take 10 minutes at time to do something that will make you feel like you're moving toward your goal until you have more time to commit. You can walk for 10 minutes, then find 10 minutes later to do some light weights, 10 min to prep that lunch, etc. Eventually you'll have more time to devote to losing weight etc but you just had a baby! Give yourself a little grace. |
Oh hush, this is so mean and obnoxious. I’m one of the women who told OP to relax and give it time and I have absolutely not let myself go. I got back to my pre pregnancy weight after both kids, but it took longer than 6 months. |
