I got the best pair of Sam Edelman espadrilles from Nordstrom Rack for under $60. They were comfortable and cute and I got a ton of compliments on them.

Mostly it's garbage but my biggest find was a Theory pencil skirt -- leather in the front and ribbed merino wool in the back for $130, in my size. Only one on the rack.

This. The website is filled with made for nordstrom rack stuff. The store can have some bargains. Lingerie usually has some good stuff.

This is helpful! What am I looking for on the tag? How can I tell it is from the original store?

The items made for the rack have just one tag that states the Rack. The original store items have a Nordstrom tag and will have writing on them. They may also have a rack tag. I used to work there a hundred years ago so I can tell season and date from the skew.
