Wellesley doesn’t give scholarships. It doesn’t need to.

Of course Wellesley gives scholarships. Lots of scholarships! But they are based on need, not merit.

Cool. People can all freak out about gay people. Less competition for my kid.
They are dumb@55es.

The co-ed college experience isn't what it used to be either. There aren't many guys there anymore, and it's becoming harder for girls to get in because there are "too many women."

😂

I love that you straight up just were honest about your dd

Did you tell her that?

The dating dynamics at co-ed schools are changing as there are fewer men. At least t a women's college you know what you are in for.

That is not a scholarship, it is financial aid.

I don't believe this.

Wellesley doesn’t even give scholarships. Try harder.

The story about the scholarship and the lesbian is a complete fabrication.

People are talking about this school. Applications are up, acceptance rate is down and it’s as rigorous as ever. It’s been a top LAC for a very long time and it’s a wonderful college for a largely self-selecting group of students. My kid is there now and seems very happy.

I forget that we are all old enough to have posted on autoadmit, above the law, tls, read vault guides and now have kids going to college and we can see some of our kids turning to characters we came across on those forums

But +1 to the person who said it's where fun goes to die.
I found law school relatively easy and definitely more fun than Wellesley.

Graciously explain how you are using this term. Sisters and brothers?

Short for siblings. It's a term that Wellesley alums often use to refer to one another.

Be honest- is your DD gay or bi?

It’s already impossible to get into so most people don’t really need to worry whether it’s their cup of tea.
