Yes, I realize water weight drops off first. Nonetheless, I’m feeling pretty good about the lost pounds and the fact that my pants aren’t tight. |
This. But also, morning coffee should be ok if you don't add anything to it besides skim (which will provide some protein)--i.e. the key is to not add sugar or cream. |
GTFO they are fine in a balanced diet. |

I’ve never added sugar or cream—just milk. But I’m ok with black. |

Mayo is terrible because it is full of industrialized seed oils--usually soybean or canola. That's real poison. The bread is likely full of phytotoxins like lectins, phytates, oxalates, and gluten, which prevent the absorption of nutrients and damage the body, even MECHANICALLY! |
I make a 2 minute fried egg in the morning before I leave the house with black coffee. Usually I skip lunch. |
Are you an automated Paul Saladino bot? |
I eat in the car and usually make a breakfast sandwich. Dave's 70 calorie seeded bread, 2 eggs, sometimes a little cheese. But often just the toast and eggs. It always keeps me full til lunch.
Sometimes I eat a greek yogurt with granola instead, but that's trickier in the car. The key to that option is measuring the granola and only having one serving. Granola serving sizes are MUCH smaller than you think. |
Definitely not a Saladino fan. He’s a fruitaholic nut |
A handful of almonds and a protein shake. |
I added the smoothie to increase protein intake and generally food intake during a very stressful period where I felt nauseated and often didn’t eat. I would feel hunger but the idea of food and prep was overwhelming but the smoothies were easy to make and drink. Now I just have them a couple times a week and trying to get protein i through other sources. Today I worked from home and i had a smoothie (well coffee first always) around 11; a piece of toast with avocado tomato and goat cheese around 2 and dinner at 6:30 (roast chicken, salad, spicy green beans and a scoop of ice cream). I don’t think smoothies cause any more or less weight loss than other foods that are high protein etc but if it works for you then trying new ones can be fun. I went through several protein powders to find one that was not full or sugar or lots of artificial sweetener). I use kos which is a plant based protein (might have stevia); the chocolate is pretty good. Spouse prefers optimum nutrition brand which is also tasty. I also add some Chia seeds for fiber and they do fill you up. |
Low-fat cottage cheese with frozen blueberries, and some granola. The blueberries will thaw by the time you get to eat it at your desk, and they keep the cottage cheese cold. This is my daily breakfast. You could do yogurt if your prefer. |
Why do you need to eat on the go. Get up earlier and eat a proper breakfast at home. One with a lot of fiber so that you lay a massive log at work a couple of hours later. |
