I also lost respect for a friend who cheated. Her husband was a doll, who adored her. The other guy was a creep, who was not even that into her.

Sad, and there were kids involved.

(PS-The couple stayed together, since the new guy did not want her. It was a mess, but now years later you would never know. I am still confused by the whole episode!)
