Where can I live where no one has tattoos?

I don't have any tattoos myself, but I think many things about you all who sit in judgment like this.

So you are sitting in judgement as well? Almost as if it’s human nature, huh?

Agreed. People think that just because people don't say these things means that they don't think these things.

If she'd been wearing pearls, she would have clutched them.

Not PP but I am an old Millennial and I just don’t get it. Why on Earth is everyone getting tattoos? And so MANY?! I don’t think it’s a reflection of a person’s character or anything, but I do think it looks terrible. (I don’t really care but it’s impossible not to notice and it is baffling.)

+1
plus they are now over done
where having a tattoo prior was more unique and signaled individualism; it now is trendy and as trying hard to be relevant
time to move on to something new

Not necessarily. There are small and sexy classy tattoos on young muscles AND then there are large and gross looking ones on aging flabs. Just like piercings, ear and nose diamond studs look cute, big buttons or septum and tongue not so much.

Not Boston suburbs. Tattoos on everyone all over

Tattoos have classes but all classes get tattoos.

Professionals try to get their tattoos where they can cover them for formal or work settings.

This is changing a lot.

I rarely see them in my NOVA neighborhood. But I also don’t pay much attention, so now I’ll probably start noticing. I’m 45 and would never get one.

I have a tiny one and I’m sure some neighbors do as well but I don’t see any tattoos in the neighborhood. Kensington and you could buy something for 1.2.

The ubiquity of tattoos now is gross and so not cool. Like everyone is trying to outdo each other with bad body graffiti. Dirty random markups scattered all over. And what is with the neck stuff?? I hope the tide turns soon and that low rent low class hobby goes away.

I don't have any but never understood why people get worked up over stuff like this. As far as I'm concerned, you can do whatever you want to your body and dress however you want -- as long as you're a law-abiding person, I just don't care.

Also, if you have kids and have made it known that you hate tattoos, your kids now know the perfect way to rebel against you.

I’m also a millennial and am with you, PP. I don’t understand them! And I have some friends with them and I just keep my mouth shut.

How fascinating that you jumped to that assumption.

I'd think any place with a large population of Catholics you would not see them.

It's against the religion.
Anonymous
It's against the Jewish religion, too, but I admit that I'm judgy towards people who judge other people for having tattoos to the point that they don't want to live near tattooed people.
