Where can I live where no one has tattoos?

Probably not very popular in North Korea as well. What do you think, OP?

A lot of Israelis have them since they're very popular among more secular Jews there, so not Israel...maybe if you go somewhere in the USA with a big conservative and Orthodox population like Rockland County...

Haha I'm not sure you can find the perfect place to avoid all people with tattoos.

With that being said, I 100% agree that most tattoos look tragic, trashy, and tacky. Peoplewith them think they look unique but oddly enough they all end up looking like they have a bad skin infection going. Ugh!

Ooh, sorry! I live in East Bethesda in downtown and I have a tattoo.

There are so many reasons someone may have tattoos.

I don't have any ink, but a close friend has tattoos that transform some pretty ugly scars (was a NICU baby, has had several surgeries) from something that is stressful and sad for her to look at to something she finds beautiful -- or at least more beautiful than the scars.

I don't know. Seems like the sort of thing that I just don't care about, myself.

This may be the ticket.

We are in FL. Tattoos are the norm. I see them and think….the result of a nasty drunken night that you are left scarred for life. I think self mutilation and ignorance. I think….what did this person aspire to be when they made this choice. Are you a drug addict? If I’m interviewing you for a job I’d take a hard pass. Too risky. You read as problematic. It screams low class.
I say nothing but this is what I’m thinking.

I think they're ugly and trashy. And I'm from Austin where not having one is more of a statement than having one.

I live in a neighborhood of $1-1.6M homes in NoVa. I know of at least 2 dads of elementary age kids who have colorful full sleeve tattoos. Lots of ex-military men have tattoos. Many of the late 30s - mid 40s age moms seem to have ankle and lower back tattoos from college. At the pool, I bet 30-40% of adults have tattoos.

The more upper class the area, the less tattoos. And the inverse is true too. Yes there are exceptions; you will see an occasional tattoo in a rich neighborhood. But not many
