Where can I live where no one has tattoos?

I only know boomers with this attitude towards tattoos: my DH's friend's wife, age 70, said this to me when I got mine: "Aren't you afraid someone will think you got it in prison?!?" If she'd been wearing pearls, she would have clutched them.

You are in a tatted-up circle then. I am also Gen X upper middle, do not have a tattoo and my friends do not either. Plenty of people have tattoos where I live (of all ages), but it’s incorrect to say it’s a Gen C thing.

I’m Gen X and don’t like them, but most of the GenXers I k ow with them have them in places not easily seen.

But I honestly don’t care if my neighbors have them. How strange to make that a housing criteria.

Not PP but I am an old Millennial and I just don’t get it. Why on Earth is everyone getting tattoos? And so MANY?! I don’t think it’s a reflection of a person’s character or anything, but I do think it looks terrible. (I don’t really care but it’s impossible not to notice and it is baffling.)

+1. My mom seriously thinks everyone with tattoos lives in a trailer. No freaking clue.

OP. It seems to be litmus test for places I would want to live. I want no visible tattoos and preferably no tattoos at all. Also no tattoo parlors, vape shops, CBD / MJ storefronts, or Cratom vendors.

Sleep with one eye open, or you will awaken with Donald Trump tattooed on both cheeks…

No tattoos? Why, did one of your sister wives object?

Look for places where people dress up a bit. Golf wear, Lily Pulitzer patterns, tennis skirts.

Oh god, I’d take tattoos every day of the week over “golf wear.”

Tattoos are cool when hardly anybody has one. Now it’s cool not to have one. There are too many to read or look at so it’s just an ugly blob.
