Feds - are you worried about job security/climate in the next administration?

I wouldn’t be so confident. The New York case is meritless. The Miami case seems compelling but Judge Cannon could delay trial and/or rule in his favor on every major issue. The Georgia case also seems compelling if the rumors are true but we haven’t seen the indictment yet. No idea what to expect from the federal January 6 case.

Also, I think as a practical matter he will be under house arrest. Otherwise he would need round-the-clock secret service protection in prison which doesn’t seem feasible.

In fairness, once the dems lost congress 2 years later there was no way a pay raise would have gotten through.

I’m not super worried about my agency in particular, aside from the whiplash that always occurs with every change in administration, but I think sone tend to be more affected than others, and hiring freezes can be a real problem.
